MIKE Software 2008 and supported Operating Systems
Supported Operating Systems for the majority of the MIKE Software products found on the dvd:
- XP Professional (32 and 64 bit)
- Vista Business (32 and 64 bit)

Microsoft Windows Vista Support
MIKE Software 2008 supports Microsoft Windows Vista Business edition (*) in both the 32 and 64 bit versions. The Home editions of Windows Vista have not been tested and will therefore not be supported.
The best user experience with MIKE Software 2008 is reached by:
- Including the user in the local Administrators group
- Disabling the Windows Vista User Access Control (UAC) feature
(*) Exceptions from the Windows Vista support are listed below:
- MIKE URBAN
- All DHI GIS Extension products – i.e. MIKE BASIN, MIKE 11 GIS, MIKE Marine GIS and Temporal Analyst
- MIKE C-MAP
- MIKE in Google Earth
- MIKE2CAD Plugin
Please note
When installing MIKE Software 2008 please perform the installation as an Administrator. Right-click the Setup.exe file and click “Run as administrator” – this is recommended even though the user is included in the Administrator group.
